The 2010 Legislative Session is now underway. The Legislature will work to fill the $1.2 billion deficit, through revenue increases, spending cuts or both.  In addition, legislators will be passing our contract this session and working on bills to incorporate the MAPE cost-saving ideas into statute.

Throughout the legislative session, Team MAPE will ask members to contact their legislators. It is vitally important that your elected officials know you are a state employee and that the decisions they will make could severely affect us as state employees. Now is the time to get involved, so we can minimize the impact of these decisions on our jobs and our families.
